Arctic Business Incubator (ABI) is Sweden's northernmost incubator, but also the world's 7th best affiliated with Luleå University of Technology. We are operating from Skellefteå in the south to Kiruna in the north — an area that spans 20 municipalities, 300 000 inhabitants and 20% of Sweden's landmass. Our task is to develop entrepreneurs and their innovative business ideas and create and maintain profitable and viable international growth.

We want to help you as a student, researcher or private innovator, or if you already have or are working within a company, but want to spin-off with a new idea. We are here both for those who already operate in Norrbotten and Västerbotten, but also interested in helping those who want to come here and realize their idea no matter where they are in the world.

Can you help me specifically?

We work with ideas from all industries that meet our criteria. The ideas come from individual entrepreneurs, Luleå University of Technology, institutions and research organizations, as well as existing companies.

We also have some special projects and business sector drives that you can read more below.

Why should I choose ABI?

With over 10 years of experience as one of Sweden's top 10 incubators (Vinnova Excellence) you can feel secure that we will give you the support you need.

We have helped over 100 companies and 1000+ ideas move forward. Please book an appointment with us and we will tell more, and put you in touch with some of the startups we have worked with before.

ABI is a member of SISP, an industry organization for Swedish Incubators and Science Parks, with 65 members across Sweden; together we accommodate over 5000 companies with approximately 72,000 employees.
